The NSS unit under the University of North Bengal has been functioning since 2002. the Programme Officer with the
students volunteers and staffs have been working for all sphere upliftment of the poor and backward people of this area.
Like Heath Care, Legal Awareness, Aids, Literacy and Human Rights etc. with satisfaction of the authorities and the
beneficiaries alike. The Balurghat Law College NSS unit has been ranked 4th position (2007-2008) among the NSS unit under
the University of North Bengal.

The grate achievement of this Law College is evident from the fact , that the result of first batch of LL.B Exam.
in 2006 -2007 was 100% successful and 2007 – 2008 was 85% successful and in other parts was 100% successful.
In future our moto is to establish this institution as a Model Law School in India under the University of Gour Banga.
