Dr. Sibasish Banerjee who is on lien, ANO is presently not looking NCC and in his place
Sri Sushanta Pnimanik is working as Care taker ANO. the College has a NSS Unit of 100
volunteers for each year and Dr.Pareshnath Das is working as programme Officer of NSS Unit.

Good practices of the college:

Academic atmosphere is good for obedient and disciplined nature of the students. Social
acceptability of the college for NSS works at the college surrounding areas. The college
organizes a function with the participation of the students employees management and local
people on its foundation day (4th September) of every year which helps to develop necessary
social base of the college. Teachers are sincere in indentifying backward students and
giving their proper guidance. Majority students are SC and ST and Pakuahat is SC dominated
area. The five blocks namely Bamangola Habibpur,Old Malda ,Tapan and Gazole are the main
suppliers of the students of the college and all these blocks are SC,ST dominated.The teachers
and students are doing survey and filed works in localities in the light of socio economic
and cultural aspects. Regular students Union activities with the help of the teachers and
employees. College Magazine publishes annually. Annual sports. Annual freshers' welcome.
Annual cultural function. Debate. Practical Mock Youth Parliament.

The college students achieved remarkable success in games and sports. The college even
participated in state level football championship and was champion and runners up in district
Pinter colleges (non-govt.) foot ball competition . The college foot ball team for lastS years
consisted of mainly Scheduled Tribes students. The college won 1st prize at Regional level
(Region VII consisting of Malda, U & D Dinajpur)of youth Parliament competition organized by
Parliamentary affairs Deptt. Govt. of west Bengal.
