University Campus
The Govt. of West Bengal has transferred a plot of land measuring about 26 acres within the English Bazar Municipality area for setting up the campus of the University of Gour Banga. Construction of the Boundary Wall has been taken up by the P.W.D., Malda Division. The Master Plan of the Campus has been designed. Plan & Estimates for construction of buildings have been prepared,vetted by the competent authority, cleared by the State Planning Board and submitted to the State Govt. for approval. M/S Makintosh Burn Ltd., an Undertaking of the Governement of West Bengal has been appointed as the construction agency to execute all construction works in the upcoming Campus.
